How are Rakuten Super Points Calculated

Regular Rakuten Super Points are calculated as below:

You'll earn 1% Point on every purchase(for orders above 100 Japanese Yen*)
Every 1 Rakuten Super Point is worth 1 JPY

● Regular Purchase : 1% of unit price per order
● Reserved Purchase : 1% of total price at the time of purchase

4 different scenarios when total purchase amount is 3,000 Japanese Yen:

● Scenario 1
Purchase 6 units of Product A that are 500 JPY each(regular purchase)

Product A : 500 JPY x 6 = 3,000 JPY x 1% = 30 Points
Total of 30 Points

● Scenario 2
Purchase 2 units of Product A that are 500 JPY each, 2 units of Product B that are 500 JPY each,
1 unit of Product C that is 1,000 JPY(regular purchase)

Product A : 500 JPY x 2 x 1% = 10 Points
Product B : 500 JPY x 2 x 1% = 10 Points
Product C : 1,000 JPY x 1 x 1 % = 10 Points
Total 30 Points

● Scenario 3
Purchase 2 units of Product A that are 490 JPY each, 2 units of Product B that are 500 JPY each,
2 units of Product C that are 510 JPY each(regular purchase)

Product A : 490 JPY x 2 x 1% = 9 Points
Product B : 500 JPY x 2 x 1% = 10 Points
Product C : 510 JPY x 2 x 1 % = 10 Points
Total 29 Points

● Scenario 4
Purchase 30 units of Product A that are 98 JPY each, 1 unit of Product B that is 98 JPY(regular purchase)

Product A : 98 JPY x 30 x 1% = 29 Points
Product B : 98 JPY x 1 x 1% = 0 Points
Total 29 Points

Total order prices below 100 JPY are not eligible for Points
When purchasing multiple units of the same product, where product price is below 100 JPY, since accumulative total product price is over 100 JPY, this order is eligible for Points. When purchasing multiple units of different products where product prices are below 100 JPY, this is not eligible for points

When using coupon or points to make a purchase:
● 1% calculation is based on total order price including tax, excluding shipping and handling fees, after applying coupon or any other discounts, before using existing Rakuten Super Points
